Fraser Valley's "IN THE FLESH" Release New EP

IN THE FLESH: THIS JUST IN (EP)

SCORE: 89/100

After performances leading up to the release of THIS JUST IN, In the Flesh have finally released this long-waited EP, with new and previously performed material making up the 7-song project.

The band utilizes their hardcore punk sound with underground touches that have been revitalized and brought to life through incredible studio recordings, using a sound that is both gritty and brought to a new level for the band musically - it's without a doubt their best project yet, and it's one that fans of the band will not be disappointed with.

On this EP, the band uses old-school sounds and influences on a very high level, creating catchy and high-energy sounds that are infectiously fun to listen to. It's a perfectly packed punk project, and everything comes together exceptionally well. It showcases a high level of sound mastery and knowledge towards the scene that they are a part of, giving them a clear direction and an even higher sense of potential than what they were already equipped with previously.

Everyone in the band reigns in their skillsets incredibly well, with intense vocals and instrumental performances, a deeply skilled level of formatting, and a pace that creates an incredibly memorable project that will stick with listeners.

The songs here are incredibly fun and full of style, and it's clear that the band has found their sound. It differs slightly from some of their other material in the best way possible, and this might just make for the best punk release of the year.

Without any sense of doubt, this is a band that you must keep on your radar - they're gonna make it big in the scene, and the progress that they have already made is astounding. It's rare to find a band that is so truly versatile and well versed in their craft, especially so early on. The band is just getting started, and this is a growth that you'll want to stick around for.

In the Flesh will be performing in cities across the Fraser Valley - so if you want a chance to hear these songs live, take your chance while it's there; you won't want to miss out on the energy-filled performance style of the band. If you're a punk fan in Chilliwack, Vancouver, or any other cities in the Valley? In the Flesh are an absolute must.
